Install TradeTurtle

TradeTurtle is a website that can also live on your home screen or dock. It opens in its own window, without browser tabs, and uses the same account and data as the website. There’s nothing to download from an app store, and you don’t have to install it at all.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

• Open tradeturtle.io/app in Safari.
• Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
• Open TradeTurtle from the new icon and sign in.

Android (Chrome)

• Open tradeturtle.io/app in Chrome and sign in.
• Go to Settings in TradeTurtle and tap Install TradeTurtle. Or open Chrome’s menu (the three dots) and choose Install app.

Mac and Windows (Chrome or Edge)

• Open tradeturtle.io/app and sign in.
• Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or go to Settings in TradeTurtle and click Install TradeTurtle.

Signing in on the installed app

The installed app keeps its own sign-in, separate from your browser. The easiest way to sign in is Continue with Google. If you use email instead, the email includes a short code: type it into the app. Tapping the link in the email would open it in your browser, not the app, so use the code when you’re signing in inside the app.

Common questions

Does it work offline? No. Your trades are stored securely online, so you need a connection.

Does it use the same account as the website? Yes. Your accounts and trades are the same everywhere.

How do I remove it? Delete it like any other app: press and hold the icon on your phone, or uninstall it from the browser menu on a computer.
